The Practice Team & Facilities


At present, six vets, two fully qualified nurses, three trainee nurses, two receptionists and an office manager are employed to ensure that all our patients receive the best possible attention.

Through continued post-graduate training, the vets develop their personal interests in key areas of veterinary surgery and medicine. The nurses are fully trained in every aspect of animal care.

Medical and Surgical Facilities:

  • We offer the most up-to-date facilities for the treatment and care of your animals. These include:
  • Two fully equipped operating theatres with comprehensive anaesthetic monitoring facilities.
  • Safe, warm, comfortable wards. Dogs and cats have their own separate wards, to help minimise stress to cats. We also have separate isolation ward to prevent infectious cases coming into contact with day patients, and intensive care facilities.
  • A fully equipped laboratory, allowing us to get same day results from blood tests.
  • Xray facilities, allowing us to take and process x-rays instantly.
  • Ultrasound equipment to allow us to look into hearts and abdomens without risk.
  • Electrocardiogram machine (ECG) to allow us to measure heart rhythms.
  • Endoscopes to allow us to look into the body with a camera.
  • Ultrasonic descaling and polishing machines, to keep teeth clean.

Other Facilities:

  • Specialised clinics, including Weight Watchers for overweight dogs and cats, Puppy Parties and occasional clinics for the older pet.
  • Flea control, healthcare and specialist dietary products sold from the reception.
  • Preventative healthcare including a comprehensive vaccination and booster programme and regular routine health checks.
  • Specialist referral and second opinions.

  • Pet Identichip service to protect your pet if it gets lost.
